Flare Gun Films
Flare Gun Films is an independent production company founded by writer-producer Stephen Hintz.
Before he wrote screenplays, Stephen ran a social service agency in Milwaukee, working with kids and families. That’s still the material: what people inherit, what they lose, and what they’ll do to get it back.
The company develops features from true stories, literary material, and original work, and carries them from first draft to financing.
A flare only burns for a few seconds. Long enough to see where you are.
